U3a Geology Group's Day Out To Filey Curtailed By The Weather – But We Ended Up Enjoying Scarborough!

It all came right in the end for members of the Easingwold & District u3a Discovering Geology Group.

Our June monthly outing was originally planned as a visit to Filey Brigg, where we hoped to explore the fascinating rocks and fossils exposed along the shoreline.

Some members were even optimistic about catching sight of dolphins, which are being spotted increasingly often off the end of the Brigg.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature appeared to have other ideas.
